SPRINGBROOK PROMOTIONS:
Brenda and I are proud to
announce a new promotional
campaign for our business that
begins today and will run in
various segments through the
Spring of 2010. You can see the
first portion of this campaign
by going to

clicking on the PAProfessional
section either at the top of the
page or at the lower section of
the page. We are promoting our
business in three segments to
enhance our reputation as being
the premier Boarding,
Grooming, and Training facility
in Northeast Pennsylvania.
1. PAProfessionals Web
presence for 4 months
running through mid
August....the heart of our
season.
2. WBRE TV (NBC TV affiliate)
News at noon on Fridays "Pet
of the Week" exclusive
sponsorship for 1 year.
3. Beginning mid August for 8
months we will be running one
promotion per month on the PA
Home Page web site.
In
addition to all of this we will
be having 20 TV commercials per
month for one year on two TV
stations which cover 19 counties
in Northeast Pennsylvania, WBRE
and WYOU (NBC and CBS
affiliates). We will also be
sending e-mails over a 4 month
period to registered visitors of
the PA Home Page site who wish
to receive special offers.

Future Pet
Care Providers: Springbrook Kennels
hosted two local Girl
Scout Troups and
assisted them in
earning their pet
care badges.

Girl Scout Troop 512
of
Moscow visited
Springbrook Kennels
and Pet Resort on
Thursday, March 19th,
for the purpose of
obtaining their pet
care badge. They
were given a tour of
the facility
including the
retail/reception
area, the Kitty
Kondos and the
bathing and grooming
salon. Explanations
were given as to how
the Kennel takes
care of the pets
entrusted to them by
their owners from
the time that they
arrive through their
departure. Topics
discussed were
feeding, sanitation,
exercise, bathing
and grooming
techniques, as well
as the dog training
programs from Puppy
classes through
Therapy Dog
International and
the importance of
having a well
trained dog.
Literature was given
to the Girl Scouts
regarding pet safety
awareness. Brenda
Williamson,
owner/operator and
professional groomer
hosted the Troop and
its leaders Sally
Berlot and Barbara
Clarke. In
attendance were
Gabriella Occhipinti,
Sammie Clarke, Erica
Berlot, Allya
Clarke, and Jacob
Clarke. |

Junior Girl Scout
Troop 564
of Hamlin visited
Springbrook Kennels
and Pet Resort on
Thursday, March 26th,
for the purpose of
obtaining their pet
care badge. This
Troop is made up of
young ladies ages
10- 12. They were
first given a 30
minute pet training
presentation by
Training Director,
Terri Florentino.
Echo, Terri’s 3 year
old Border Collie,
was there to
showcase her skills
in sit, down, stay,
and recall. Terri
explained that the
Kennel offers dog
training programs
from Puppy classes
through Therapy Dog
International and
the importance of
having a well
trained dog. The
Scouts then had a
tour of the Kitty
Kondos. From there
it was on to the
bathing and grooming
salon. Topics
discussed were
feeding, sanitation,
exercise, bathing
and grooming
techniques.
